Beauty without
compromise.
A Bangladeshi collective dedicated to the art of 100% organic mehedi. No chemicals, no shortcuts—just the pure essence of the leaf.
The biological
alternative.
The modern henna market is saturated with chemical cocktails and industrial shortcuts that compromise both skin safety and artistic integrity.
Hennica was founded in Dhaka to reclaim this ancient ritual through a lens of modern biological science. We source only the finest, high-lawsone content leaves, which are meticulously triple-sifted into a silken, micro-fine powder. By replacing harsh synthetic solvents with a proprietary blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils, we ensure a deep, mahogany stain that is as kind to your body as it is beautiful to the eye.
Raw Origin
Harvested at peak potency, our leaves are sun-dried and ground without chemical additives. We source directly from growers to ensure every leaf meets our high-lawsone criteria.
Essential Bloom
Infused with therapeutic-grade essential oils to trigger a deep, dark oxidation without skin irritation. A scientific approach to the perfect mahogany stain.
Skin Safety
100% PPD-Free and Ammonia-Free. Rigorously tested to be safe for children, expectant mothers, and those with the most sensitive skin types.
From Soil to Skin.
Ethical Harvest
We source leaves exclusively from the autumn crop in Sojat, where the lawsone content peaks at 3.2%. Sun-dried on organic canvas to preserve the natural dye molecule.
Triple Sifting
The dried leaves are pulverized and passed through artisan-grade mesh three times. This removes all stems and sand, creating a powder as fine as silk.
Organic Infusion
Mixed in small batches with distilled water, raw sugar, and therapeutic Lavender oil. We wait 24 hours for the dye release before filling the cones.
Honest Conversations.
Natural henna stains the top layer of skin but does not create a waterproof barrier. It is fully permeable for prayer and wuzu.
Organic henna starts as a bright orange. It takes 48 hours to oxidize into its final, deep mahogany hue—a sign of true purity.
